SIC Licenses for UNIX products

This page describes the licensing strategy for SQue 9.2 and SICFilePlus on UNIX.
There is an equivalent page for SQue 9.2 on Linux.

You may obtain licenses for SQue 9.2 through Canon only.
For the various SICFilePlus solutions you may obtain licenses also only through Canon.

The versions of SQue 9.2 may be down loaded and used in demonstration mode.
For the SICFilePlus products there exist no demonstration versions and they cannot be down loaded directly.

The following licenses for SQue 9.2 and SICFilePlus are available:

SQue 9.2 X11/Motif for UNIX License based on the Ethernet or MAC address of the UNIX workstation.
There are two types of licenses :
  • Single License for one workstation.
  • Site License, for a whole site.
You may download the product directly from the site of Canon.
SQue 9.2 Mode Texte for UNIX License based on the Ethernet or MAC address of the UNIX workstation.
There are two types of licenses :
  • Single License for one workstation.
  • Site License, for a whole site.
You may download the product directly from the site of Canon.
SICFilePlus for UNIX License based on the Ethernet or MAC address of the UNIX workstation.
The licensing strategy is the same for all variants of SICFilePlus.
The licensing strategy for UNIX is the same as that for Linux.
