SIC Licenses for UNIX products
This page describes the licensing
strategy for SQue 10.x and SICFilePlus on UNIX.
There is an equivalent page for SQue 10.x on
Linux.
You may obtain licenses for SQue 10.x through
Canon only.
For the various SICFilePlus solutions you may obtain licenses either
through Canon or directly from SIC (see Contact Us).
The versions of SQue10.x may be down loaded and used
in demonstration mode.
For the SICFilePlus products there exist no demonstration versions and they
cannot be down loaded directly.

The following licenses for SQue10.x and SICFilePlus are available:
SQue 10.x X11/Motif for UNIX License based on the Ethernet or MAC address of the UNIX workstation.
There are two types of licenses :You may download the product directly from the site of Canon.
- Single License for one workstation.
- Site License, for a whole site.
SQue 10.x Text Mode for UNIX License based on the Ethernet or MAC address of the UNIX workstation.

Upgrade from SQue 9.x to SQue 10.x SQue 10.0 is a major release of SQue (both X11/Motif and Text Mode versions)
This means that the license key for a SQue 9.x version will not work for SQue 10.x.To obtain an upgrade license, please contact your local Canon sales representative.
Once you have an upgrade license key certificate, you can obtain a license key from the SIC License site:
http://www.franet.com/licensing.
SICFilePlus for UNIX License based on the Ethernet or MAC address of the UNIX workstation.
The licensing strategy is the same for all variants of SICFilePlus.
The licensing strategy for UNIX is the same as that for Linux.

To obtain a license for SQue 10.x or SICFilePlus please
contact your local Canon representative, who will make the link with SIC
International.
Once you have your license serial number from Canon you may visit the SIC licensing site to obtain a key to unlock the software from demonstration mode.
