CPrint: Linux Printer Driver for Canon ImagePROGRAF Large Format Printers
The SIC Linux Driver for Canon Large Format Printers CPrint 1.0 facilitates the creation and configuration of printer queues on Linux workstations or servers, allowing access to all features of Canon Large Format Printer devices (iPF, iPFLP).
The product is based on two Linux software packages:

CUPS – printer daemon available for most Linux distributions.

Foomatic-rip – also available for most Linux distributions.
CPrint has the following characteristics:
- CPrint allows for the creation of CUPS compatible printer queues for GARO and CPCA V2.0 compatible Canon devices.
- Supports colour as well as monochrome Canon devices.
- All standard printer options are directly available from most main Linux applications.
- Also command line printer options are supported.
- Data conversion to the PDL of the Canon device is automatically taken care of by CPrint making use, if necessary, of the foomatic-rip package.
- Support for PDF printing on any Canon Device
CPrint 1.0 supports automatic data conversion to the appropriate device. PDF data are transformed internally by CPrint to GARO/CPCA V2, including the general support of all finishing and advanced options (mailbox and multiple copies printing). - CPrint 1.x for Canon is not available on this site.
